Bonita BPM 7 - Tomcat Bundle - First steps after setup - No profiles to create admin users

Hello everyone,

I just setted up a new deploy using the tomcat bundle. I was able to login as the technitian user, but when I tried to create the first Admin user I found that there is no profiles to assign the new user, as it is showed in the attached images.

Is this a bug? is there a work arround?

Hi,

I have just tested with a Tomcat bundle and MySQL database and profiles have been imported properly. If you started from scratch it looks like an error occured during Bonita BPM engine's initialization. Hence profiles may have not been created.

Any error in BonitaBPMCommunity-7.0.0-Tomcat-7.0.55/logs/bonita*.log ? Did you make several attempts to start Bonita so that platform initialization may have been aborted somehow?

Can you try to start from a "fresh" installation ?

Hello trucngn,

I didnt do a full reinstall, just delete the bonita db and allowed the setup to recreate them. I will try what you said and post my results.

Just created a new portal and works for me...no problems experienced,
