Questions regarding software/hardware requirements for installing Bonita

Hi All,
We are installing Bonita version 7.2.3, which will be integrated with our application - PROS Pricing Solution Suite (PPSS). I have a few questions regarding the compatibility.

  1. SQL Server version – We are currently on MSSQL v2016, enterprise edition. Bonita v7.2.3 supports MS SQL v2012 R2.
  2. Tomcat – The PPSS tomcat version is v8.5.23 and the requirement for Bonita is v7.0.67.
  3. Java – We currently have Java 8 update 161 and Bonita requires Oracle Java SE Runtime Environment 8 u40.
  4. SQL UTF-8 – Our SQL DBA told us that SQL doesnt support UTF-8, however the Bonita requirement is that your database should be enabled to use UTF-8.

If someone can help clarify the above questions, that would be great!
