Our visit to the North Pole

This December we had the chance to visit the North Pole and discover one of Santa’s processes: the gift request. We were also able to take a sneak peak at the North Pole organization and learn how to:
➡️ Model a process
➡️ Define automatic and human tasks
➡️ Assign and manage human tasks
➡️ Use a BDM (Business Data Model)

For our English session, our audience came from all over the world: Jamaica, Uganda, Scotland, Brazil, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Portugal, Argentina, Tunisia, Italy, Cameroon, Serbia…

Our Q/A session included the following questions:

❓Q: There is still an error about the XOR ...
❓Q: When you are in a large organization, who inputs the organization structure, roles and individuals? With large organizations, this is very complex.
❓Q: What is the difference between business variables and process variables?
❓Q: This initialization routine, where you inserted the code is always necessary? So to insert such code?
❓Q: Once the process is started ("a gift is requested") the one who should be "producing it" will be notified? How?
❓Q: Do we absolutely need to master the BONITA's programming language and "attributes" : String, boolean... even if we are not IT?
❓Q: Could we send an email?
❓Q: Can it be connected to other software like teams or asana, for instance?
❓Q: Can a mobile app be used for a human task's form?
❓Q: How to include for example Gift Type to be selected and loaded from database?
❓ Q: you did import the organization, is there a template?
❓Q: Is there a current example-process, that I can download and study? For some reason, the process that I load in the Bonita-Start-Page produces errors.
❓Q: Do you have a connector with Power BI Microsoft?
❓Q: What's the difference between Run and Execution commands?

Notre voyage au Pôle Nord

Ce mois-ci nous avons voyagé au Pôle Nord en compagnie du Père Noël ! Nous avons ainsi dévoilé un de ces processus : la demande de cadeau. Nous avons également découvert l'organisation au Pôle Nord et appris à :
➡️ Modéliser un processus
➡️ Définir les tâches automatiques et manuelles
➡️ Attribuer et gérer les tâches manuelles
➡️ Utiliser un BDM (Business Data Model)

Nous avons eu la chance d’être accompagnés par une audience francophone curieuse et remplie de questions intéressantes. Ainsi nous avons pu aborder à la fin les questions suivantes :

❓Pourquoi la condition "Gift request Validated?" signale une erreur ?
❓Peut-on récupérer à la fin de la séance votre modèle par mail ? pour le redérouler chez nous en local
❓Pour importer les organisations ça ne prend qu'un fichier XML?
❓A quoi peut servir ce logiciel (Bonita) dans une équipe de développements d'applications par exemple ?
❓Le résultat de ce travail sera déployé sur un serveur ou il doit fonctionner uniquement sur ce serveur ?
❓Est-ce que c'est possible d'exporter et exécuter un processus sur un autre serveur ( non Bonita) si oui lequel?
❓Avez-vous des exemples comment configurer une SCRIPT TASK (avec du javascript) ?
❓Est-ce qu'il faut des licences pour utiliser Bonita ?
❓Comment tester une connexion à une base de données externes ?
❓Il faut absolument Bonita runtime ?
❓C'est quoi votre EMAIL ?
❓Est ce qu'on peut automatiser des lancements de lignes de codes dans Bonita ?

Este mes fuimos al Polo Norte en compañía de Santa Claus. Hemos echado un ojo a uno de sus procesos: la solicitud de regalo y pudimos descubrir la organización en el Polo Norte. También aprendimos a:
