Latest Bonita maintenance release (7.9.1) is now available for download.

We are happy to let you know that Bonita 7.9 is now available. It includes:

• Componentization and tools for developers

  • a high scalable asynchronous engine, up to 10 times more performant in a context of slow connectors
  • Bonita Runtime can now be started in an embedded mode

Bonita v7.8.4 is now available for download .

This maintenance release fixes a number of issues for the Bonita Engine, Portal, Studio and UI Designer.
Some fixes for issues specifically raised by our Community Users are among the ones listed below. Be sure to check which ones could be useful for your development:

Bonita 7.8.3 is now available for download.

This is a maintenance release, and it fixes a number of issues for Bonita Engine, Portal, Studio and UI Designer.

Of course, Bonita migration tool has been updated to support this new version.

An issue that impacts the development of custom widgets in UI Designer has been identified in 7.8.1 and 7.8.2.

Use-case is the following :
- In the UI Designer when a developers changes a Custom Widget property and saves it.
- The pages/forms/layouts/fragments using the custom widget are refreshed to take the change into account.
- This is where the issue arises. Once this change is done the Pages/forms/fragments/layouts become unusable.
- The only way to recover is by going back to the previous state (by restoring from GIT)

UiPath has announced the availability of their native integration with Bonita platform as part of UiPath 2019.2 release, which represents a new level of integration of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) with Business Process Management (BPM).

As you know each versions of Bonita brings a set of new and improved features.

That’s why we regularly go through all existing features in the product and identify the ones which should be replaced with better alternatives.

By decommissioning unused features, we’ll make the platform easier to use and maintain so we can focus on the core features.
